She looks pretty clean from the 3 avail pics. And for the low, low price of $2800, it could be mine...

Do it. Sometimes you just have to jump in with your feet first.

I know, I know, I'm probably not helping, but if it's in as good a shape outside as the pics make it appear, that alone is probably worth it.

The inside looks like it might be in need of some TLC, but interior work is easy.

I used to have a 1990 TransAm GTA way back in high school (I've gotta see if I can get pics from my mom and dad. It was the '90s so no digital SR20s) and for all its quirks I loved the hell outta that car. I sold it in '02 just, before I married my first wife, to get something more economical; big mistake (on both counts, hehe ... ).

Do it, love it, and maybe hoon it (just a wee bit).

You sure you don't want an '86-'92? The '82-'85 is lighter, yes, but that's because it lacks the chassis reinforcements that were made to the '86 in order to improve the handling. I like the early 80s styling on this one, but it's still worth noting that the handling isn't really all that good from what I hear.

3rd gen Trans Ams are almost more Sparf bait than they are Bandit bait. I love the pop-up look!
